Yes Style Haul 2 + Review

This is my second order on Yes style this year, and I’m still trying to find the best brands on the website.  I’ve had a lot more success with this order, but I also played it “safe” and bought more accessories instead of clothes.  Continue reading for photos and brand reviews!

This order was shipped in 11 days and delivered 13 days after shipment with default shipping method. Items were marked with 7-14 day shipment dates.

I was pretty excited when my package came because I had to wait a pretty long time to receive it.  I bought clothes and accessories in this order, but I did not order from the “Ships in 24 Hours” section of the website.  My order came from DHL after almost a month.  Below you can find reviews and comparison photos of each item.  Yes Style is a website that hosts many brands, so it is important to judge each item of clothing by the brand instead of the website.  For clothing reference, I am 5’6″ and around 95-100 pounds.

Brand photo by DABAGIRL

This off-shoulder cropped sweater by DABAGIRL was exactly like the photo.  The sweater was really tight and hugged close to my arms and body, so it maintained the look that was in the brand’s photograph.  The measurements were really accurate on the arms, but I think it looked a little shorter on me simply because I must be a little bit taller than the model.   Overall, I’m really happy with this purchase. photo 1_zps4aotufaj.png

Brand photo by Cham n Style

This is the first belt I ordered.  I decided to go with a red one to expand my wardrobe a bit.  This belt is by Cham n Style and is completely elastic, save for the front tie.  I would never wear the belt paired with the shirt in my photo, but bear with me! It’s just an example!  Anyways, I really did like this belt.  It hugged my waist perfectly and was large enough to make a statement.  The color was bold just like the photo.  This belt was my favorite belt I ordered!

Brand photo by QZ Lady

This tree printed pullover by QZ Lady caught me a little off guard.  I was expecting the material to be a lot thicker than it actually was due to it being called a “Pullover”.  I guess I thought it would be similar to a sweater, but it was a really light flowy top.  I didn’t expect the elastic to make the bottom of the shirt to hang over so much either, but I think it’s something I will be able to work around.  Overall, the print matched the model’s shirt and I was pretty happy with it.

Brand photo by Jolly Club

My big miss was with the denim shirt by Jolly Club, simply because the cut felt too awkward on my body.  I was expecting the denim to feel heavier than it actually was, and I wasn’t expecting the buttons to be so difficult to push through the holes.  I’m assuming the shirt is supposed to be worn on top of a sweater or a thick shirt, but that sounds so awkward.  The shirt was just too wide for me.  In my photo, I’m pulling the back end of the shirt to show how much extra fabric is around the back.  In the brand’s photo, it is seen tapering off of the model’s back, but mine just hung off of my body.  I was pretty upset with this buy.  I feel like I could try to make this shirt work, but it would be like jumping through hoops.  I’m torn between turning it into a scientific sewing experiment or returning it.

Brand photo by Charm n Style

This is the second belt I opened when my order arrived.  Yet another belt by Charm n Style.  This belt is skinnier and features lace, which I thought would add a more feminine touch to a boring shirt.  The belt’s elastic was great and worked well with my wait.  Not too tight and not too loose.  Happy with another purchase!

Other purchases included, from left to right, two pairs of socks from Socka, and three more belts from Charm n Style.  The issue with the two black belts was that they were not tight enough for my waist and it was nearly impossible to make them tighter.  The reason why the belts could not hug my waist was because the only elastic on the belts were on the back side and did not go all the way around.  I will most likely return the two black buckled belts, which is a shame, because I thought they were lovely.  The dog belt was cute, a bit difficult to keep on, but it was adorable nonetheless.  I had to tighten my belt quite a bit to make the dogs latch together.

Yes Style Haul + Review

I have shopped with Yes Style in the past, so I thought I would order some new clothes since I had to leave some behind after moving.  I recently got my computer back, so I have been working on updating my posts with more images! Read on to see comparisons and some tips for shopping on Yes Style.com.

This order was shipped in 1 day and delivered 2 days after shipment with default shipping method.  Items were ordered under the “ships in 24 hours” filter.

This rating is for this purchase only.

I was surprised when my package came in the mail because it arrived a day after the order I placed about a month ago.  I purchased items exclusively from the “Ships in 24 hours” filter on the website.  These items really did ship super fast, and I think that’s how I’m going to purchase items from Yes Style from now on.  Below you can find reviews and comparison photos of each item.  Yes Style is a website that hosts many brands, so it is important to judge each item of clothing by the brand instead of the website.  For clothing reference, I am 5’6″ and around 95-100 pounds.

Brand photo by Bloombloom

The first item I received was a fringe suede blouse from the brand Bloombloom. The shirt was a lot larger than I expected it to be, and the fridge did not lay flat. My shirt also did not come with the sleeves rolled up and there is a noticeable color difference between the brand’s photo and mine. However, the shirt was very inexpensive and the color difference didn’t bother me too much. I was mostly upset about the shirt being larger than I expected and the fridge not laying flat. I’m planning on keeping the shirt and tucking it in when I wear it.

Brand photo by 59 Seconds

The second item I received was a houndstooth skirt from the brand 59 Seconds. I bought the skirt because I am pretty familiar with the brand already and have ordered from them before.  The fit is decent and hugged my body The skirt was advertised as a “ruffled” shirt, but I wasn’t expecting it to stick up in the back as much as it did.  A few other people who bought the same skirt said they were able to fix the “puffiness” so I might have to try to do that as well.  Overall, I don’t think I would wear this skirt as it is.

Brand photo by Bloombloom

Unfortunately, the next item I opened up was another flop by Bloombloom.  The colors were a bit different from the photos and the shirt was very wide.  The only way I could wear this shirt is if I was to tuck it in or wear high-waisted bottoms with it.  The shirt was also very short, stopping right above my hips.  This is a shirt that I would return, because I just couldn’t like it.

Brand photo by Jolly Club

This next item is a sleeveless cropped top by Jolly Club.  I think this item was my favorite out of my entire order.  The quality was good and it fit perfectly.  It also looked exactly like the photo, which is always good.  The zipper in the back was durable as well.

Brand photo by Envy Look

This high waisted skirt was an item I wanted to buy for a long time.  This skirt is from the brand Envy Look.  I ended up being happy with my purchase, despite a flaw that the skirt had.  The zipper in the back is difficult to keep zipped up, especially when you move your body around or try to tuck a shirt back into the skirt.  I think that the skirt really needs a clasp on the back to keep the zipper zipped up, so I may have to put one in myself to fix the issue.  The “lace up” decoration of the skirt wasn’t functional, but it was a cute detail that made the skirt look a lot less boring.

Brand photo by Adima

Next, I received a short sleeved bicycle shirt by Adima.  The shirt was again, a lot “bigger” than I expected and turned out to be another shirt that looks best when tucked in, unless you’re going for a look that requires a loose-fitting shirt.  In my photo, I’m pulling the back of the shirt out to show how wide the shirt was made.  Personally, I don’t look good in loose-fitting shirts, so I will have to tuck it in for sure.  Overall, it turned out to be a cute shirt that I could see myself wearing even in the heat because the shirt was nice and breathable.

Since the shirt was loose, I wore it tied.

These are a few other items I bought.  The socks are from MITU, the bag organizer is from Evorest Bags, and the shapewear is from Giselle Shapewear.  I didn’t like the shapewear because it wasn’t tight enough for me.  I have purchased shapewear from YesStyle before and was pleased, so I assumed this experience would have been the same.  The item turned out to be too long and didn’t work as well as the one I already own.  Unfortunately, you can not return shapewear so I’ll hold onto it anyways.
